What is D-Module ZigBee?

The D-Module ZigBee features a new, revolutionary system that shares one or more smartcards among several viewing points (TVs) simultaneously. This function is limited to enabled smartcards for which providers have given special permission to use the service in this way.

D-Module uses the same hardware as the Diablo CAM light with the addition of the Wireless (Zig-Bee) module. This allows the user to connect the CAM's to the Base station in a totally transparent manner and share the Smartcard in the Base station. D-Module ZigBee basically allows the user to share his smartcard between more than a TV set hosted by a Common Interface receiver independently from the channel the user is trying to decrypt. This is not like a video sender but like a real card splitter.

Some limitation are provided to legitimate the product's usage in a domestic environment.
