- Setup procedure

  • Download the software from download section in www.duolabs.com
  • Unzip it and read the readme file ( very important , this will save you from setup mistakes )
  • Install the last software release
  • Connect the device, windows should ask for drivers ( if not, go in device manager, remove the exclamation pont device and reinsert the device )
  • Slect the option that let you chose the folder for the driver of the new device
  • Choose c:\program files\cas interface studio x.x
  • Finish to install the driver.
  • Start the software.
  • If you see the device serial number all is ok, someone can experience arrors like 152, or 141, this happens for hardware problems that we didn't found during our test, in this cases you must send it to your reseller for replacement, but before you can try to install it on another pc.
    Infact on some pc we found that this problem also happend, and we are tring to solve.

- How can i use Dynamite or CAS2 with third party software to program my card?

First you must know how the thing works. The computer can comunicate with some kind of card using a general device called "PHOENIX", this kind of device is used by thousands of software, this is because it's a general device. It works simply generating a clock to that make the card working at a defined speed , usually this clock is 3.579 Mhz but it can change for some particolar situation.
Then you can choose from 2 kind of RESET , active low ( PHOENIX mode ) or active high ( SMARTMOUSE mode ), usually the phoenix mode is used.
So to program most of actual cards Phoenix mode at 3.579 Mhz is the configuration.
Go in the utility menu of cas studio 5.1, select phoenix module and chose phoenix 3.579 to make Dynamite or cas2 becaming a phoenix.
Connect it with a pin to pin cable and start your third party program.
